South Street Baptist Church, being a place of worship for the many, embraces different people, from different cultures, backgrounds, languages, nationalities and even tastes - bringing this rich diversity together under the striking love of our Lord Jesus.

We do not pride ourselves in what we have, or who we are, or where we are located, or who we know, but in the fellowship with the triune God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit - as well as with each other. Our culture therefore is a 'positively outrageous love' towards one another, to the community around us, to the world we live in - especially the un-churched - and to our God. For as the Apostle Paul - a great teacher and missionary in the New Testament taught the believers in Corith,

"For our proud confidence is this: the testimony of our conscience, that in holiness and godly sincerity, not in fleshly wisdom but in the grace of God, we have conducted ourselves on the world, especially towards you" (2Corinthians 1:12 - NASB)

The pastor encourages a vibrant, fun-, spirit- and passion-filled life of worship and caring for each other. Who said that Church life should be boring?

We are a growing Church, with numbers monthly averaging at 100 (including Children and Visitors). Our wish and prayer is to grow in numbers and in the faith - to be conformed to the full image of Christ. By joining us, you do not become an insignificant "statistic", but you join the precious family of God, the Church, for whom He sacrificed His Son Jesus to redeem us back to Himself. We wecome you. In the recent past, the Church has seen not only growth in numbers, but in the Walk With The Saviour, through healing ministries, and also as the Pastor raises and mentors different leadership teams ready to take the Church to the next level.
