Who Are We?

We are Baptist in the first instance.  Who is a baptist?  Someone who is a true believer, whose faith has been publicly declared through believer's baptism. We also are an evangelical and Pentecostal movement, living a New Testament Church life.

What We Are About

Our aim is to raise a community of sincere worshippers who will communicate the love of Jesus to others.

In SSBC, we do not serve any racial, gender or political inclinations - but seek to communicate the much needed love of Christ to His thirsting People.

Our doors open to welcome all people attending our services for the first time, regular attendees and those that are visiting. We also wish to extend our love greetings to our online friends and visitors - we appreciate your stop. The love of Christ has no boundaries - be it physical, virtual/online - as the Psalmist sang:

"O the deep, deep love of Jesus; vast unmeasured, boundless, free. Flowing like the mighty oceans in its fullness over me..."

We extend our hand of welcome to our services to experience this love, redeeming love.
