Other SSBC Events
- Creche on Sunday mornings as well as children and youth service.
- Coffee club Wednesday @ 10.00am
- House groups on Wednesdays @ 7.45pm – this is a place to love and be loved and exercise your lungs through laughter. It is in such a small group that people grow in love and in knowledge of God and of one another.
- Prayer meeting on Fridays at 8.00pm
- Outreach once a month on Saturday mornings.
- Creative Arts – a different dimension of powerful worship through mime, dance, drama or poetry.
- Alpha – runs in the autumn. This is a means of presenting the basic principles of the Christian faith to non-churchgoers and it is suitable for people of different ages and backgrounds.
- Good Friday Breakfast – very relaxing atmosphere, lots to eat and much to ponder over this important day on the world’s calendar
- Evangelism Weekend held in October – powerful, anointed healing meeting not to be missed.
- Church Weekends Away – a time to relax, get to know people on a different level and deepen relationships.
- Fellowship Lunch held once a month after church service - Bring and share food and celebrate different nationalities, so bring anything that you like to eat and we spread all the food out on a table and enjoy each other’s company while we eat.
- Christmas Day Service
- New Years Eve Service – a time to reflect on the past and be determined to move on from mistakes and celebrate milestones reached.
- Other Involvement: Baptisms, children’s dedications
- Vacation Bible School – children’s summer holiday club for 5 – 14 year olds. This is a time of fun through games, dance, music and bible stories to help build confidence in them.
